To celebrate World Art Day on the 15th April, one of our extra care facilities, Blenkinsop Court in South Shields, organised a range of different art activities for our service users to enjoy. Whether they were beginners or already skilled artists, we had a variety of tasks for everyone to enjoy. These tasks were for all ability levels and our care staff there to assist if needed.

From colouring in to flower arranging, our service users had an amazing time expressing their creative side for World Art Day. Whether they were trying something new or reminiscing on crafts they enjoyed when they were younger.

We also wanted to share with you photos of our service users and their finished creations!

We’d like to say a big thank you to Sally and the care staff at Blenkinsop for helping put this event together. You’re compassion and hard work truly makes our service users so happy!
We’d also like to thank Natasha Whitley’s daughter for creating these fabulous Easter decorations for the service users in Blenkinsop to enjoy. We can tell a lot of love and effort was put into these and we greatly appreciate it.
