Summer Crafts
DIY Pavement Chalk Paint
DIY pavement chalk paint is a fun, easy and inexpensive outdoor summer activity! For this craft, all you need is 120 grams of corn flour, 160 millilitres of water and food colouring. Start by mixing together the corn flour and water until the corn flour has dissolved. Then, divide it into a muffin tin and add different food colouring to each mixture to create an array of colours. Finally, grab a paint brush, let your creativity flow and start painting outside!
Sun catcher Craft
Another fun and inexpensive craft perfect for the summer time is a DIY sun catcher. For this craft, all you need is tissue paper, black card paper, contact paper and any extra decoration you may want to add. First, cut your tissue paper into squares. Then draw the shape of your sun catcher onto the black card paper, this could be anything from a butterfly to a football. Once you have your shape, cut out the middle of the shape leaving a frame of the shape. Cut a piece of contact paper larger than your shape and place your shape frame on top. Start placing the tissue paper squares on and when you are done take another sheet of contact paper to place on top to seal the shape. Finally, trim around the shape and add anymore decorations you might want to add.
