Easter Activities at Home
Getting Creative
Easter holidays are the perfect time to get creative and there are plenty of crafts to try this Easter, from painting eggs to decorating Easter bonnets. One of the easiest and keepsake crafts to do with your younger children is Easter bunny hand prints, all you need is white and pink paint, coloured paper and a black felt tip pen. First create a hand print, without the thumb, on the coloured paper and leave to dry. Once dried, draw on the bunny’s face and paint the inside of the ears and nose pink.
Another fun Easter craft is a toilet paper roll bunny. All you need is toilet rolls, white paint, googly eyes, paper and a felt tip pen. However, you can add more supplies to give your bunnies more character. Once all the supplies are acquired, it’s time to get creative and make your Easter bunnies. You can even start a friendly competition to see who can create the best Easter Bunny!
Easter Baking
One of our favourite things to bake during Easter are chocolate cornflake cakes, all you need is paper cake cases, chocolate and cornflakes. Either melt your chocolate over the hob or in the microwave and then stir in the cornflakes. Once all the cornflakes are covered in chocolate, pour them into your paper cake cases and if you want to you can add chocolate mini eggs and little chicks for extra decoration. Finally, place them into the fridge to set for 60 minutes.
